Need an Official Docket or Record?
Route common Whatcom County court-record needs as follows:
- A specific case: begin with the Washington Courts Case Records Search using a party name or case number
- A hearing date: consult the appropriate calendar, then verify the setting directly with the court
- A docket or case document: request it from the Superior, District, or municipal clerk that holds the matter
- A certified copy: order it from the maintaining clerk because an index or private website cannot certify a record
- An administrative county record: use the county Public Records Act process; that process does not replace a GR 31 court-record request

The clerk's public hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. District Court and each municipal court maintain separate files, so confirm the filing court before contacting this office.
